Empties I’d repurchase – Skincare, cosmetics, hair

All my close friends know I have a hoarding problem with beauty products. The thought of running low on anything gives me physical chills. I have a cupboard of unopened products that somehow keeps growing. I justify my habits with the fact that I give away anything that isn’t for me but could work wonders for a friend or family member. But I’ll be sharing some empties (and near empties) that I loved and would repurchase.

White seed line

This is my favorite line from The Face Shop. I started with the cleanser and loved it so much that I bought the serum and moisturizer too. It really made my skin look bright and fresh.

Since these ran out, I’ve used other brands like Elizabeth Arden, Secret Key, and the Belif line. But nothing really measured up to White Seed.

Moroccan Oil

I have another unopened bottle sitting in my cupboard for when this runs out. Moroccan Oil is something I absolutely cannot go without. It literally saved my hair, which felt like hay for years from all the bleaching I did. Believe it or not, this 125ml bottle lasted me a year even though I used it generously.

Revlon Equave and UniqOne

The Revlon Professional line is one of my favorites for salon grade hair care. The products are very reasonably priced for what you’re getting. I’ve already have new bottles for both!

Equave is a detangling leave-in conditioner that could go on wet or dry hair. It smells amazinggg and really gets the job done.

UniqOne is a multi-benefit leave in conditioner. I first bought it because I needed a heat protector for blow drying, but later noticed that my hair has more body whenever I use it.

Primer Potion

Onwards to cosmetics! I got this as a sample for the Naked Heat palette launch in Canada. I used it regularly for a few months, but now that here’s only a little left, I only bring it out for special occasions.

I’ve tried to find dupes and even tried priming with a really good concealer, but nothing is quite the same.

Surprise dupe!

I got this Grande Lips plumper on sale and really enjoyed it, but I found something cheaper that I like better. The Sephora brand lip plumper actually gives me more of that tingly plumping feeling. Plus, I find that it wears longer.

Essence Eyeliner Pen

You have to get the waterproof, I can’t stress this enough. This is long wearing, it dries down fast, and the pen does last for a while. It’s not the best eyeliner pen I’ve used (Which is between EM Cosmetics and Eyeko London), but it’s a very solid product for $3.50 cad.
